40 Gramm Matcha Washimine: Dieser weiche und cremige Okumidori-Matcha stammt aus der Region Kyoto. Aufgrund der hohen Theaninkonzentration ist dieser Tee kaum bitter und eignet sich sogar zur Zubereitung von "Koicha-Matcha", der dicken Matcha-Paste, die bei besonderen Teezeremonien verwendet wird.
40 Gramm Matcha Seisui: Diesen Matcha beziehen wir von Herrn Nakai außerhalb von Kyoto. Er wird aus der Yabukita-Sorte hergestellt, der in Japan am häufigsten konsumierten Matcha-Sorte. Dieser Tee hat ein schönes, starkes, pflanzliches, aber sehr gut ausbalanciertes Geschmacksprofil.

This matcha is made from the Okumidori cultivar, a premium tea cultivar prized for its smooth and creamy flavor. This is quite similar to our matcha washimine but with a little bit more astringency. You may notice a slight tingling on the tongue with this tea but for the most part it is smooth and sweet.
30 grams Uji Matcha Chanoka Okumidori: This first harvest, ceremonial grade matcha comes to us from Uji, perhaps the most famous area for tea cultivation in Japan. For hundreds of years, Uji was known to produce the best matcha in Japan, and that reputation still carries on to this day. This tea has been shaded for 20 days to create a rich savory flavor, and because its from the Okumidori cultivar, it has a smoother, more well-rounded flavor with less bitterness. The tea has a tiny but of astringency towards the end, but it is well-balanced by the thick and rich mouthfeel.
30 grams Uji Matcha Chanoka Silver: This first harvest, ceremonial grade matcha comes to us from Uji, perhaps the most famous area for tea cultivation in Japan. For hundreds of years, Uji was known to produce the best matcha in Japan, and that reputation still carries on to this day. This tea has been shaded for 20 days to create a rich savory flavor.
This matcha starts off strong with a bold savory flavor and a thick mouthfeel. It gets right to the point with these strong umami flavors that evolve over time. The strong vegetable notes of this matcha are balanced out by the heavy creaminess of the tea. The finish is strong on these savory seaweed and baby spinach notes but without any astringency. This is a very well balanced matcha that lacks bitterness without lacking power. The combination of strength and smoothness of this matcha is unrivaled, and it makes a great addition to our lineup.
40 grams Matcha Kakitsubata: This organic ceremonial matcha has a fresh vegetal flavor you might typically associate with a matcha. It has less sweetness than the Sesui and more of a grassy flavor than the Washimine and the Koiai. If you like a strong matcha flavor, this matcha brings a lot of freshness, a lot of grassiness and a bit of astringency as well. This is a very high-quality organic matcha at a very affordable price. It is also a good matcha to mix in with almond milk to make a latte because the flavor is quite strong and you will still be able to get a good taste of the matcha.
30g Matcha Tea Nakai Superior: This matcha lures you in with a smooth vegetal flavor and later introduces these more complex savory taste profiles. The savory notes are more on the marine side, drifting off into the direction of ocean breeze and seaweed. The mouthfeel is thick and creamy, with a milky finish and no astringency.
40g Matcha Tea Osada Okumidori: This tea finds a great balance between these warmer notes of cereal and wood, as well as the cooler vegetable notes. The tea finishes with a sweet savoriness, similar to that of a Gyokuro. Overall, this tea is very well rounded, incorporating different elements from many Japanese green teas.
30g Matcha Tea Chanoka Yabu: Because this is a Yabukita Matcha, the tea has a certain vegetal freshness to it, as well as a dryer finish. The mouthfeel is medium thick, with a soothing quality to it. There are some floral notes with this tea as well as some umami flavors. The matcha has a long milky finish that is quite soothing.
30g Premium Matcha Chiran: In the first sip, this tea starts out strong with a smooth sweetness. The mouthfeel is quite thick and weighs heavily on the sides of the tongue. There is no astringency, but rather a full-bodied finish and a lingering umami flavor. This tea is rich, yet smooth, with a velvety feeling to it that is quite pleasant.
40g Matcha Tea Sakamoto Sae: This tea begins with these strong steamed vegetable notes, and then drifts off into a sweeter direction. This tea has less of these bold savory notes compared to other matchas, and more of a light sweetness. You may notice hints of seaweed in the initial taste, followed by warm, sweet nutty notes in the finish.

This tea has less of these bold savory notes compared to other matchas, and more of a light sweetness. 30g Premium Matcha Masudaen: This matcha begins with a smooth and savory flavor, but it later develops more of these warmer nutty notes. The tea has a thick, velvety mouthfeel to it that you may also notice in the Silver matcha from Chanoka. This tea is strong and heavy, yet smooth and drinkable. You may also notice a light and sweet finish to this tea, with a well developed savory or umami taste, which is well sought after in Japanese green teas.
30g Kyoto Matcha Masudaen: This matcha begins with a strong, sharp vegetal flavor and then is rounded out by these more citrusy and floral notes. If you like a matcha that has a bit more strength to it, this would be a good choice. This matcha lacks the roundness you may find in an Okumidori matcha, but it has that strong grassy and vegetal flavor that the Okumidori matchas do not have.
40g Matcha Green Tea - Asamiya Yabukita: This Matcha is from the Yabukita cultivar, the most widely grown cultivar in Japan. The tea begins with a pleasant citrusy note and later develops more of these vegetal flavors of summer grass. The tea finishes with a light floral astringency.
Asamiya in Shiga prefecture was one of the original regions where tea was grown in Japan. Close to the neighboring matcha producing regions of Uji, Wazuka and Kyoto, Asamiya sits along lake Biwa, the largest body of freshwater in Japan. The lake bed used to encompass the area of Asamiya, so the soil here is incredibly rich and fertile. There are many incredible matcha teas produced and this region, and we're happy to get a chance to share a few with you.
40g Matcha Green Tea - Asamiya Saemidori: This Matcha is from the Saemidori cultivar, known for its light and sweet flavor. This cultivar is harder to produce, so it is typically reserved for premium Gyokuro and Matcha. This matcha is rich and velvety with a strong savory flavor. This tea begins with these heavier steamed vegetable notes and then finishes with a light sweetness.
40g Matcha Green Tea - Asamiya Sayamamidori: This Matcha is from the Sayamamidori cultivar, an older cultivar that was registered the same year as Yabukita. It is named after the Sayama region in which it was founded. This matcha is smooth and mellow with some chocolaty or cereal undertones. The tea finishes with no bitterness and a subtle floral taste profile.
100g Latte Grade Matcha: Do you prefer drinking your matcha with some nice plant milk and a little bit of sugar? The Latte Grade Matcha is the right choice for you. This matcha has a stronger taste that pairs better with cream and sugar, so you still can get a powerful matcha taste. This matcha is also more affordable, so you don't have to use it as sparingly. Throw a scoop or two in your morning latte or smoothie and get all the benefits of green tea! Like our other teas, this matcha was also grown without the use of pesticides or chemicals and it is produced by a small family-owned farm in Shizuoka.

Compared to the standard latte grade matcha, the basic latte grade matcha is slightly more bitter, so you will want to only use it in mixed drinks, lattes and smoothies.
