This Zeremonien Matcha has a fresh vegetal flavor you might typically associate with a matcha. It has less sweetness than the Sesui and more of a grassy flavor than the Washimine and the Koiai. If you like a strong matcha flavor, this matcha brings a lot of freshness, a lot of grassiness and a bit of astringency as well. This is a very high-quality organic matcha at a very affordable price. It is also a good matcha to mix in with almond milk to make a latte because the flavor is quite strong and you will still be able to get a good taste of the matcha.

This tea comes to us from the Osada family in Shizuoka. This is a family owned business, but has turned into a larger scale operation over a few generations. They maintain a higher level of quality control by working with smaller farmers in the village of Isagawa.

This matcha comes to us from the mountains of Shizuoka, Japans largest tea growing region. The farmers of Osada source their tea leaves from small family farms in the organic village of Isagawa to ensure the tea is made with great attention to detail and absolutely no pesticides. We visited these tea farms in April 2019 to see the fields and factories where it was produced in person.
Zubereitung
Add 2 grams of matcha to a bowl and then pour in 100-150ml of 160-175F water. You can then scrape off the sides of the bowl and begin whisking with you matcha whisk
